It's a matter of survival!

On August 2nd of 2001 the Senate killed by a 2 to 1 margin the US government's gun buyback program.  Some felt that this was a "victory" for 2nd Amendment supporters.  Let's face it, gun control advocates view guns as the source for just about every problem associated with living in a free society.  What this vote actually accomplished is that $15 million dollars designated for helping the homeless may actually get used for that purpose.  The Department of Housing and Urban Development has been utilizing allocated dollars for promoting its hidden agenda of creating a "sustainable society" as also advocated by the folks at the United Nations.

Make no mistake about it, their aim along with the rest of the promoters of the New World Order agenda is to deprive US of our legitimate use and ownership of firearms.   They'd like for US to believe that we the people can feel secure in our homes with UN approved agency forces being the only ones armed.

John Bolton, the U.S. undersecretary of state for arms control, told the recent first U.N. conference to curb small arms trafficking that he opposed a mandatory review of what individual countries had done, which he said would serve only to "institutionalize and bureaucratize this process."  "It is the illicit trade in military small arms and light weapons that we are gathered here to address and that should properly concern us".  While gun control advocates distorted the facts, Mr. Bolton made it clear that he was there to reject any move to restrict the right of citizens in the United States of America to bear arms.

The majority of the 189 represented nations wanted a legally binding accord established which would (though of course not actually stated) allow for law abiding citizens to be disarmed.  An accord which  would ensure that those with ulterior motives (government forces, terrorists, criminals, etc.) could accomplish their intended goals.  After all, an unarmed individual (populace) is more easily controlled.  Facts firmly establish that those in control of nations are those who have help via their armed comrades.  Do the majority of citizens really believe that their government protects them?  Do those who believe that gun rights need to be limited trust that their proponents will be the ones always in control?  They must, for how else would folks naively set aside their right for self protection?  But, what an absurd contradiction of reality!

The Center for the Prevention of Handgun Violence.com is one website dedicated to educate people about gun control and firearms and their proper and legal use.  Facts provided include failed calls to 911 for those naive folks who believe that others are available to protect them.  Of course, their mind controllers would much rather they and others weren't armed with such information.  They definitely don't want the unknowing aware that armed Americans save over 2 million lives each year from being victimized by criminals.  Armed with updated information, the good folks at Keep and Bear Arms (KABA) provide US with the facts needed to hold our aim on keeping our right to self protection utilizing the best weapon (as our wannabee protectors already know), a loaded firearm.

On August 3rd Senator Durbin of Illinois introduced S.1355, a bill "To prevent children from having access to firearms."  This bill would make it a crime to keep even an unloaded gun in any area whereby one under the age of 18 years old might enter.  Yes, you read that correctly!  If approved, it would become illegal to have even an unloaded firearm, not secured according to gun control advocate standards, within a "premises" which a juvenile might be at any given time.  The stated purpose "to prevent juveniles from injuring themselves or others with firearms".  Obviously any victory that may have been perceived by others on August 2nd became quickly overshadowed this following day.

Though some applauded this bill's introduction let's be mindful of this fact (as so eloquently put by Dave Kopel) "Gun "proliferation" begins with "pro" and "life." Gun prohibition begins with registration, and ends with genocide.".  This bill will offer no other protections than that which will protect invaders from armed Americans able to defend their selves and theirs.  With tens of thousands of gun control laws already recorded, only law abiding citizens adhere to the rules.  Our right to be secure in our own homes is once again under attack.  And just in case you've forgotten, 41 of our congressional representatives currently support  the "United Nations Rapid Deployment Act of 2001".

This particular bill, H.R. 938 (introduced in March of this year), would allow a UN force to enter and "disarm combatants" and "restore the rule of law" as seen fit by UN authorities.  We haven't got enough to worry about with abuse of authority from our own enforcement forces, we now need to be concerned about an onslaught from outside our sovereign boundaries.

I cringe when I consider the potential consequences of such ignorance.  The elimination of the right to self protection must not happen.  Those perpetuating the myth of a great New World Order protector must be halted in their tracks.  Not even one of US knows exactly the moment we may be the next targeted victim.  Most would agree though that if they did know they'd make sure a loaded firearm was present; the hypocrites included as, of course, they would make sure they had a bodyguard who possessed such a weapon.

While much is being written regarding this important issue enough can not be documented regarding the fallacy of gun control.  Those armed with the facts must hold their aim and continue to shoot down each attack upon this most important God given and Constitutionally affirmed right.  Supporters of our 2nd Amendment right must remain vigilant.  Though it is heart warming to be winners when an attack is initiated, we will not be victorious until all bills intended to strip US of our rights are defeated.

As our Second Amendment Sisters state, "Enough of the distortion, enough of the misrepresentation, enough of the reproach from the anti-Second Amendment crowd."  Keep informed, armed and aimed!  It's a matter of survival!
